after this fun fly — we will be setting our sights for indoor flying sessions this fall.
First one is scheduled for Sunday Oct 18th — 8:30 am to 3:00 pm.
Come join our group at our flying field in Olathe, Kansas every Tuesday this summer for our OUTDOOR FLYING SESSIONS starting at 6:00 pm and ending when it’s dark.
We have several members that fly hand launched gliders and others that try their luck at wind-up models. This summer we are calling our flying sessions “Fun Flys” which means that they are informal and guests are always welcome.
We could always use extra persons to time airplane flights. You don’t need a special stop watch to record flight times. Most smart phones have a stop watch feature as part of the clock app. Most apps record to a hundredths of a second, which in our setting is a bit overkill—but never-the-less accurate. Or if you own a working stopwatch yourself, put it to good use and learn what we’re all about while having an enjoyable evening of Free Flight.
For our Fall and Winter Flying Sessions see our Indoor Flying Sessions page.
