We are desiring  favorable flying conditions (low wind speed 8 mph or under) so we can test fly and be able to trim airplanes.

If on May 12th—the wind and weather aren’t quite right—we will postpone the event to the following weekend (and so on), until Suman gives us the green light.

Event goers are encouraged to set up a personal contact with Suman (either text, email or phone #) so he can get the word out to all those interested in going to the event. Suman can be reached at 785-979-1116. We will also post a GO or NO GO on this page for all to see.

Last year’s fall HAFFA Picnic was a success at Suman’s farm which has a nice covered shelter with his and her bathrooms and tables for meals.

This spring’s event will be designed to encourage new comers to the hobby. Bring your project for an impromptu build session with experienced builders  to help you get started. Also planned for the day is help for anyone needing to “trim” their free flight model airplane to safely fly right.
