As outlined in History of HAFFA Part II the Topeka based TOPMAC attracted many followers.

There where were a few professors from the University of Kansas (KU), a member for Liberty, MO, some from Kansas City MO, Olathe, KS and others from areas of the metropolitan Kansas City area.

As the members realized that many of them were closer to Kansas city, they decided to form the club HAFFA or Heart of America Free Flight Association.

Back in October 2015 the members of HAFFA made their own history when they decided to have a group launch of the 1930s design called a Twin Pusher A Frame. A thorough discussion of this model aircraft design can be found on the 1st part of this series called The History of HAFFA Part 1.

Many aeromodelers really enjoy building and flying their own twin pushers, and especially have a fond place in their heart for the aircraft’s design in model aircraft history.
