The Heart of America Free Flight Association aka HAFFA has recently initiated
SUMMER OUTDOOR FLYING SESSIONS AT SUMAN SARIPALLI’S
CARMEL FARM IN PERRY, KS, LOCATED NEAR LAWRENCE, KS
🌞The title for these (bring anything you’ve made that looks like it has a chance to fly) summer events will be:
BECAUSE OF THE REBELIOUS WEATHER on June 17th — This event has been POSTPONED EXACTLY ONE WEEK TO SATURDAY, JUNE 24th, 2023 !!!

PLEASE NOTE: We’ve chosen the phrase FAIR-WEATHER for good reason.
The go ahead for these events will occur only if there is EXCELLENT WEATHER !!!
That means FAIR SKIES , NO RAIN IN THE FORECAST and LOW WINDS !!!
🌞The Carmel Farm is the site we’ve used in the past for our end-of-season picnics in September.
🌞These FAIR-WEATHER HAFFA FUN FLYS will be held this summer on the third Saturday of each month beginning this month, June 17th, and will continue through September when we switch to indoor flying.
🌞Weather permitting, FAIR-WEATHER HAFFA FUN FLYS will start around 9 am and end towards dusk.
🌞A club officer will unlock the field and secure it later.
🌞As this is a HAFFA Club event, only paid HAFFA Club Members with current AMA memberships will be allowed to fly.
🌞Bring your model aircraft(s), a significant other or friend(s), sack lunch, your favorite beverage, and be prepared for some enjoyable summer Kansas weather!
🌞If we need to cancel an event, a notice will be posted on the website as soon as we can get it up.
